Job summary

Doutta Galla Aged Services is seeking a Clinical Care Supervisor for its Woornack site in Sunshine. You will report to the Resident Services Manager and lead the clinical care team to deliver person-centered care, enhancing wellbeing, dignity, and quality of life for residents.

This fixed-term, part-time role spans 6 months with specific shifts. You will oversee care delivery, documentation, and compliance while mentoring staff and coordinating with health professionals to ensure high standards

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registered Nurse DIV 1 registration with no conditions.
• Experience as an RN in Charge in a residential aged care home.
• Dedication to resident care and support.
• Excellent clinical knowledge on medical conditions, palliative care, and dementia care.
• High level interpersonal and written skills.
• Positive and flexible attitude.
• Experience in leading staff and coordinating with residents and health professionals.

Are you a Clinical Care Supervisor with a passion for Aged Care?

Join our dedicated team at Doutta Galla Aged care at Woornack located in Sunshine, where every day is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

Reporting directly to the Resident Services Manager, you will work as part of our clinical care team, delivering person-centered care that enhances the wellbeing, dignity, and quality of life for our residents.

This role is fixed term part-time for 6 months, working below mentioned shifts.

Week 1 & 2 - Mon, Tue 1445-2215, Sat, Sun 0700-1500

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering clinical care services, care planning, review and assessment of all aspects of clinical care.
• Ensure resident care services delivery is based on the current needs, goals and preferences of residents.
• Provide clinical support and advice to staff.
• Ensure accurate documentation reflects resident care needs and complies with funding requirements.
• Comply with all reporting requirements including incident and SIRS /mandatory reporting
• Ensure medications are administered, documented, stored, and disposed of in accordance with regulations and policy.
• Ensure that all relevant legislative requirements pertaining to care delivery are always complied with and ensure staff awareness of those requirements.

Experience and Skills:

• Experience as an RN in Charge in a residential aged care home
• Current AHPRA Registered Nurse DIV 1 registration with no conditions
• Dedication to resident care and support
• Excellent clinical knowledge regarding medical conditions, palliative care, and care of people living with dementia
• High level interpersonal and written skills
• A positive and flexible attitude
• Experience in managing and leading staff
• Ability to effectively communicate with residents, resident representatives and other health professionals
