Doutta Galla Harmony Village in Footscray is seeking a Clinical Care Supervisor for night shifts on Monday to Wednesday 2200–0715, as parental leave cover until September 2027. You will lead the clinical team, delivering person-centered care to enhance residents’ wellbeing and dignity.

Reporting to the Resident Services Manager, you will oversee care planning, assessments, and ongoing clinical care for residents in a residential aged care home.

Qualifications

• Experience as an RN in Charge in a residential aged care home.
• Dedication to resident care and support.
• Excellent clinical knowledge regarding medical conditions, palliative care, and dementia care.
• High level interpersonal and written skills.
• Positive and flexible attitude.
• Experience in managing and leading staff.
• Ability to communicate with residents, representatives and health professionals.
• Current AHPRA Registered Nurse DIV 1 with no conditions.

Responsabilités

• Ensure comprehensive clinical and specialized nursing care is provided and documented.
• Prioritise residents and families in decision-making, respecting preferences and dignity.
• Assist with AN-ACC reappraisals and mandatory/voluntary assessments as required.
• Responsible for daily case reporting, care planning, and addressing concerns promptly.
• Conduct routine clinical assessments to identify and address gaps in care.

This is a fixed term part-time opportunity for a Clinical Care Supervisor working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 2200 - 0715 (both weeks) for a parental leave cover until September 2027.

In this role you will lead our clinical care team, delivering person-centered care that enhances the wellbeing, dignity, and quality of life for our residents.

The Role:

Reporting directly to the Resident Services Manager, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional clinical care services on night shifts at our Residential Aged Care Home in Footscray.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure comprehensive clinical and specialized nursing care is provided, documented, and tailored to each resident's needs
• Prioritise residents and their families in decision‑making, considering their preferences, independence, dignity, and identified care‑related risks
• Assist with AN-ACC reappraisals, including mandatory and voluntary assessments, as required
• Responsible for daily case reporting, care planning, and addressing patient concerns promptly
• Conduct routine clinical assessments to promptly identify and address any gaps in care.

Experience and Skills:

• Experience as an RN in Charge in a residential aged care home
• Dedication to resident care and support
• Excellent clinical knowledge regarding medical conditions, palliative care, and care of people living with dementia
• High level interpersonal and written skills
• A positive and flexible attitude
• Experience in managing and leading staff
• Ability to effectively communicate with residents, resident representatives and other health professionals
• Current AHPRA Registered Nurse DIV 1 registration with no conditions
