Job summary

For Purpose Aged Care is seeking a part-time Clinical Assessment and Documentation Nurse for Romsey Community Aged Care. You will manage ANACC operations, assess new residents, identify uplifts, apply for uplifts, and coach staff on documentation. The role includes DoH correspondence and reporting, with four days a fortnight and flexible start times.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience as an ACFI Coordinator or similar role.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of the AN-ACC funding model.
• Excellent documentation skills and ability to build strong relationships.
• Proficient with a clinical documentation system and general computer skills.
• Willingness to learn and coach others.

Responsibilities

• Manage ANACC operations for the residence.
• Mentor care team on documentation requirements.
• Coach staff on good assessment writing principles.
• Provide orientation to ANACC assessors.
• Generate reports and manage DoH correspondence.

For Purpose Aged Care has an opportunity for a part-time Clinical Assessment and Documentation Nurse for our residence at Romsey Community Aged Care to manage ANACC operations and mentor the care team in documentation requirements for our residence based in Romsey.

This role is responsible for managing all aspects of ANACC including assessment of new residents, identifying potential uplifts in a timely manner, applying for uplifts, managing DoH correspondence, coaching staff on good assessment writing principles, providing orientation to ANACC assessors, generating reports etc.

Skills, knowledge and experience needed:

• 2 years recent experience as an ACFI Coordinator or similar role (desirable)
• Have a comprehensive working knowledge of the new AN-ACC funding model.
• Excellent documentation skills and demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships
• Sound computer skills and proficiency using a clinical documentation system
• Willingness to learn and coach others

Four days a fortnight, days with start time open for discussion.
