Job summary

St Basil's Homes NSW/ACT is seeking an Aged Care Educator - Clinical to design, deliver and evaluate education programs that uplift clinical practice and regulatory compliance across our aged care services. The role involves travel between sites to ensure consistent learning and positive workforce development.

You will develop annual education plans, deliver face-to-face and online training, and mentor staff while auditing practices and contributing to governance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Assess learning and development needs across the clinical workforce.
• Develop annual clinical education plans and training calendars.
• Deliver education through face-to-face, online and blended formats.
• Facilitate orientation and induction programs for new staff.
• Conduct competency assessments and skills validation.
• Audit clinical practices including wound care, medication management, infection control and manual handling.
• Monitor education compliance and mandatory training completion.
• Support quality improvement and clinical governance activities.
• Review and update clinical policies, procedures and educational resources.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging education across in-person, virtual, and blended formats.
