Job summary

ArborMulch Pty Ltd is seeking a capable Climbing Arborist to join our team and work with our primary arborist across the Hunter Region. You will support the main climber and also undertake climbs independently on occasions.

The role covers residential and commercial tree work with modern equipment in a supportive crew environment. We value proven climbing experience, confidence at height, and solid rigging/chainsaw skills.

Job description

ArborMulch is looking for a Climbing Arborist to join our team and work alongside our primary arborist across the Hunter Region.

This role would suit someone who is already confident in the tree and has solid climbing experience. You’ll support our primary climber across a range of residential and commercial tree work while also taking on climbs independently where required.

The role will include:

Climbing and aerial tree work

Tree pruning and removals

Assisting with larger and more technical dismantles

Rigging and rope work

Ground work as required — we’re a team and everyone gets in

Working with modern plant and equipment across a variety of jobs

We’re looking for someone who:

Has proven climbing experience

Is confident and competent working at height

Has good chainsaw and rigging skills

Works well alongside another climber and as part of a crew

Is reliable, safety-focused and takes pride in their work

Holds a current driver’s licence and/or MR truck license

Relevant arboriculture qualifications are highly regarded
