Job summary

One Playground is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our in-house Projects Team and drive high-end fit-out projects across Australia. You will own the tender process, select builders, and oversee construction, claims, handover and defect close-out with a people-first approach.

You will lead complex projects in landmark buildings, shaping premium spaces for our members and supporting our rapid national expansion.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead fit-out, refurbishment or construction projects from tender through to handover.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and keeping programs on track.
• Strong financial acumen in project costing and budget control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the tender process for fit-out and construction projects with builders and contractors
• Manage the builder throughout construction and fit-out delivery, from mobilisation through to practical completion
• Assess and administer progress claims, variations, extensions of time and claim structures in accordance with the head contract
• Perform site visits to monitor progress, quality and WHS compliance across live projects
• Own small fit-out and renovation projects end-to-end, working with in-house and external teams
• Coordinate with live gym teams to plan works with minimal disruption to trading and members
• Maintain and update the project program across all sites
• Assist with managing consultant teams, contractors and suppliers from concept through to construction and handover
• Manage defect identification and rectification through to sign-off
• Work with Portfolio Manager on landlord approvals and incentive draw downs
• Support lease and landlord-related requirements affecting design, program and cost
• Liaise with landlords on fit-out approvals and site access
