Job summary

Perpetual Limited is seeking a Client Services Officer in Debt Market Services who will administer payment functions and provide day-to-day operational and compliance support. You will build a working knowledge of assigned trusts and maintain relationships with clients at an operational level.

The role offers hybrid working arrangements with a Sydney base and opportunities to work across Australia. We value detail-oriented, analytical thinkers who communicate clearly with clients and colleagues

Qualifications

• 12 months or more experience in financial services.
• Exposure to securitisation or debt markets preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Analytical thinking and practical problem solving.
• Clear communication with clients and colleagues.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to support the broader team.

Responsibilities

• Execute payment instructions accurately and within service levels.
• Develop and maintain effective operational relationships with assigned clients.
• Build knowledge of assigned trusts and team systems.
• Complete invoicing, billing and Client Connect obligations.
• Follow internal controls, policies, procedures and risk frameworks.
• Support client management, record keeping, archiving and filing requirements.
• Contribute to team projects and provide backup support for colleagues.

About the Role

As a Client Services Officer within Debt Market Services, you will administer payment functions and provide day to day operational and compliance support to the Client Services Team. You will develop a working knowledge of your assigned trusts and maintain effective relationships with clients at an operational level.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

About you

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

• At least 12 months' experience in financial services
• Exposure to securitisation or debt markets is preferred but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills
• Analytical thinking and practical problem solving capability
• Clear communication skills and confidence working with clients and colleagues
• A collaborative approach and willingness to support the broader team
