Job summary

Perpetual Corporate Trust in Sydney is seeking a Junior Securitisation Trust Analyst to support trust management services in Australia’s securitisation market. You will work with clients, investors and transaction stakeholders, delivering accurate, timely trust calculations and reconciliations while learning from experienced colleagues.

This role offers exposure to complex securitisation structures, a collaborative team, and opportunities to develop technical financial services expertise.

Responsibilities

• Prepare trust calculations, reporting, payment instructions and transaction notices in line with trust documentation.
• Complete and maintain bank account and trust reconciliations.
• Review and process settlement requests and payment instructions to support funding activities.
• Monitor trust covenants, portfolio parameters and trigger events across client transactions.
• Respond to client and investor enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Support the management of aged debtors and accruals.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the team’s operational goals.

About the Role

Join our Trust Management team and support the delivery of trust management services to Australia’s securitisation market. This role offers the opportunity to build technical expertise while working with a diverse portfolio of clients, investors and transaction stakeholders.

As a Junior Securitisation Trust Analyst, you’ll help ensure trust management activities are delivered accurately, on time and in line with contractual obligations. You’ll work closely with experienced colleagues, contribute to client outcomes and identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies across the team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Securitisation Trust Analyst at Perpetual Corporate Trust, you will:

• Prepare trust calculations, reporting, payment instructions and transaction notices in line with trust documentation.
• Complete and maintain bank account and trust reconciliations.
• Review and process settlement requests and payment instructions to support funding activities.
• Monitor trust covenants, portfolio parameters and trigger events across client transactions.

About you

Your background may include:

• A tertiary qualification in business, accounting, economics, finance or a related discipline
• Experience within Financial Services, which will be highly regarded
• An interest in building a career within securitisation, or existing exposure to the securitisation industry
• An understanding of securitisation structures and trust manager responsibilities, which will be highly regarded
• Strong client relationship management skills and a commitment to delivering excellent service
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data and financial information
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across a range of stakeholders
• A curious mindset, strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new concepts and take on new challenges.
