Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Client Services Officer for our Nowra site. You’ll be the welcoming first point of contact, providing professional reception and administrative support while helping create a calm, respectful environment for clients accessing our services.
You will combine front-desk client service with practical admin duties across programs, responding to inquiries, managing records, and supporting day-to-day site operations in a compassionate, confidential manner.
Do you want a career that means more? At Anglicare Sydney, we bring the strength, the support and the strategy to make it happen.
For over 170 years, Anglicare has been serving people in need. We began because people saw a need and were compelled to make a difference, and that purpose continues today.
Our vision is simple yet powerful: Jesus Christ honoured, lives enriched and communities strengthened.
As our Client Services Officer, you'll be the welcoming first point of contact for people accessing our services at our Nowra site, providing professional reception and administrative support while helping create a calm, respectful and organised environment.
Many of the people you meet may be experiencing challenging circumstances, crisis or complex needs. Your ability to communicate with warmth, sensitivity and professionalism will help ensure every person feels welcomed and respected from the moment they arrive.
Working within our Community Services team, you'll combine front-desk client service with practical administrative support to help keep the site and its programs running smoothly.
You’ll welcome clients and visitors, respond to enquiries and help connect people with appropriate Anglicare services. You’ll also support day-to-day site administration including records management, supplies, contractors, mail, rooms, equipment, property maintenance and general operational support.
You're warm, organised and professional, with the ability to make people feel welcome while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
You understand that great client service looks different when someone may be vulnerable or experiencing a difficult time. You can listen, respond calmly and sensitively, and know when an issue needs to be escalated.
You're also an organised administrator who can manage competing priorities, work across multiple programs and build positive relationships with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will also be required to meet Anglicare's probity requirements, including a Police Check and Working with Children Check.
We provide meaningful opportunities and choice, both for the individuals and communities we support and the dedicated people here who make it happen.
At Anglicare, you'll get the security, stability and opportunities that come with a strong, well-established organisation that's ready for the future. You'll belong to a community of kind, humble and respectful people of all faiths and backgrounds.
On top of that, here are just some of the tangible benefits you will enjoy in a career with us:
We're many services, with one purpose - to meet people where they are and walk with them.
As a Client Services Officer, you'll help bring that purpose to life through every interaction - creating a welcoming environment, connecting people with support and helping our Community Services teams deliver services effectively.
All applicants will receive a response.
Anglicare is as wonderfully diverse as the customers and communities we support. While we are guided by our Christian-based values, our team includes people of all faiths and backgrounds who share our commitment to serving others, and we value the diverse perspectives they bring.
We strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, as well as people of all ages, genders, abilities and cultural backgrounds.
