Economos Pty Ltd, a top 100 accounting firm based in the Sydney CBD, invites motivated accountants to join a friendly, supportive and dynamic team. We are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated, reliable and resilient individuals who show initiative and can take ownership of this role.

Role includes collating tax returns and financial statements, ATO liaison, payment arrangements, and ensuring timely lodgments. Experience with Office 365, DocuSign, Xero and MYOB AE preferred.

Qualifications

Experience working in an accounting firm for a minimum of 3 years.
Experience with Office 365, DocuSign, Xero, MYOB AE

Responsibilities

Collating tax returns and financial statements
ATO calls/portal requests, remission requests, payment arrangements via phone call or ATO portal
Banking/Post office payments
Contacting clients to get the work in/ chase missing information
Lodgement list - Ensuring team has their jobs in/out in a timely manner to lodge clients tax returns by the due date
Chasing any debts
Reviewing WIP - ensuring bills are not missed and WIP is tidy.
