Job summary

State Street is seeking an experienced Client Service Manager to join the Client Service Team in Sydney. The role focuses on delivering high‑value services across our custody, accounting, and fund administration offerings, while managing client relationships and coordinating cross‑functional teams for optimal outcomes.

You will lead service quality, monitor inquiries, and escalate issues when needed, with a strong emphasis on risk management and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in custody, fund accounting or fund administration environments.
• Ability to lead, motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver valued services and solutions to clients across State Street's offerings.
• Manage client relationships, respond to escalations, and monitor inquiries until resolution.
• Keep senior management informed of new developments, service issues and opportunities.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication to resolve client issues and deliver quality service.
• Promote a collaborative environment that supports change and innovation.
• Provide SME for new business onboarding and other projects.
• Drive project work to improve client service and outcomes.
• Lead continuous evaluation of team operations to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
• Review operating standards to identify opportunities and best practices.
• Deliver key messages to relevant parties about client activities.
• Assist with compliance and fiduciary reviews and audits as appropriate.
• Maintain sound risk and compliance controls and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Adhere to corporate policies and procedures including the Standard of Conduct.
• Perform other duties as required.
