Job summary

State Street Global Delivery is seeking an experienced professional for Investment Management Operations and Accounting within the Front Office Support team in Sydney. You will manage day-to-day client activity and support onboarding, interfacing with clients’ front office management and acting as a subject matter expert to ensure timely trade execution.

The role requires deep knowledge of Front/Middle/Back Office processes, CRIMS, and strong analytical and communication skills to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with emphasis in finance, accounting, or economics or equivalent work experience in finance or accounting.
• 5+ years related industry experience
• Working knowledge of Domestic and International financials and all related financial trading instruments
• Detailed understanding of Front/Middle/Back Office Finance Operations
• Ability to develop business relationships within and outside the organization
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and problems solving skills
• Ability to multi-task, balance workload and work in a deadline oriented position
• Computer proficient including spreadsheet and database applications- Python/SQL/VBA/Macro experience
• Previous trading software experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure BAU client queries relating to Front and Middle office are tracked, with proactive management to ensure timely response and resolution and engage teams as needed to maintain accuracy of Clients' Order Management Systems (OMS) and Middle Office IBOR recordkeeping systems.
• Communicate effectively on issues / problems to the Client and management and ensure a proper and timely follow-up to ensure resolution.
• Collaborate with other teams to share approaches, develop best practices and improve team capabilities both pre and post client migration.
• Interact with the clients regionally and globally as needed to ensure the deliverables are met, participate in weekly / monthly service review meetings as required.
