As a Client Relations Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting tenants and applicants, helping them access and sustain secure housing. This is a people-focused role that combines professional tenancy management with empathy, problem-solving, and strong stakeholder engagement.
Client Engagement: Act as the first point of contact for applicants and tenants, providing informed advice, support, and guidance.
Tenancy Management: Manage a portfolio of tenancies, including allocations, sign-ups, inspections, and ongoing tenancy support.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with advocates, support services, and partner organisations to help clients sustain long-term housing outcomes.
Community Impact: Support low-to-moderate income earners across the New England North West region to achieve housing stability.
You bring a balance of professionalism, accountability, and compassion. You will be successful in this role if you have:
Relevant Qualifications or Experience: Certificate III in Social Housing (or willingness to obtain), or experience in welfare, property management, community services, or a customer-focused role.
Strong Communication Skills: The ability to manage sensitive or complex conversations while maintaining professional boundaries.
Mandatory Requirements: A current Driver’s Licence, a clear Criminal History Check, and willingness to obtain a Working With Children Check.
