Job summary

Matthews Steer Accountants and Advisors in Melbourne’s North West is seeking a Client Services Manager (Business Services). The role focuses on client management, financial analysis, and tax and accounts review, with senior oversight and team mentoring.

You will lead planning processes, supervise junior staff, and drive service delivery for growing entrepreneurial and family businesses within a supportive, family-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA/CPA and experienced hands-on Client Manager.
• 5+ years of experience in Australian Public Practice Accounting.
• Relationship-driven leader focused on building capability and empowerment of colleagues.
• Excellent communicator with clients and colleagues at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for client management including action plans, workflow, budgets, forecasts and financial analysis.
• Own the review of financial accounts and income tax returns, tax planning, budgets and forecasts, and analysis prepared by the junior team.
• Support the growth of the team through mentoring, development, training and on-the-job coaching.

About the Role

As a Client Services Manager, you will:

• Be responsible for client management including action plans, workflow, budgets, forecasts and financial analysis.
