Job summary

Qualifications

• CA or CPA-qualified accountant with 5 years' experience in a professional accounting firm.

Responsibilities

• Manage a client portfolio, including client relationships, task turnaround and WIP management.

• Review and sign off client work with confidence.
• Draft advice on financial, taxation and investment matters for Partner review.
• Provide technical guidance, training and mentorship to team members.
• Provide strategies relating to Division 7A compliance, supported by strong technical knowledge.
• Research technical matters and compile insights to support client decisions.
• Identify opportunities to add value to clients and contribute to business growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CA or CPA-qualified accountant with strong experience in professional accounting who is ready to take greater ownership of their client portfolio, build on their advisory capability and continue developing their leadership skills.

What You'll Do

As a Client Manager, you'll take responsibility for a portfolio of clients and play an important role in delivering high-quality accounting, taxation and advisory services.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Manage a client portfolio, including client relationships, task turnaround and WIP management.
• Build strong, trusted relationships and act as a key point of contact for clients.
• Participate in and independently lead client meetings.
• Perform analytical reviews of your own and the team's work to identify client opportunities and risks.
• Review and sign off client work with confidence.
• Draft advice on financial, taxation and investment matters for Partner review.
• Provide technical guidance, training and mentorship to team members.
• Provide strategies relating to Division 7A compliance, supported by strong technical knowledge.
• Research technical matters and compile insights to support client and business decision-making.

What You'll Bring

• 5 years' experience in a professional accounting firm.
• CA or CPA qualification.
