Bentley Recruitment in Australia seeks an experienced Client Manager/Manager to service SME clients and lead advisory work from a remote setup. You will develop client relationships, review filings, and guide staff across tax and business services.

The role emphasizes flexibility, mentoring, and collaboration with Partners on complex tax matters, with 5+ years in Tax & Business Services and CA/CPA qualifications required.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualified with membership in a recognized body.
• 5+ years in Tax & Business Services in Australian public practice.
• Experience managing a portfolio and developing client relationships.
• Strong review skills and ability to mentor accounting staff.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
• Able to work independently within a remote team.

Responsabilités

• Manage a diverse SME and private client portfolio.
• Build strong client relationships and act as trusted adviser.
• Review financial statements, tax returns, BAS and other compliance work.
• Provide tax planning, structuring and advisory guidance.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff and oversee workflow.
• Collaborate with Partners on complex tax matters.

The Opportunity

• Manage a diverse portfolio of SMEs, privately owned businesses, and complex groups
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted business adviser

About You

• Experience at Client Manager, Manager or experienced Supervisor level within Australian public practice
• 5+ years Tax & Business Services experience
• Experience managing a portfolio and developing client relationships
• Strong review skills and experience mentoring accounting staff
• CA or CPA qualified
• Strong technical tax knowledge and commercial acumen
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills
• Able to work independently within a collaborative remote environment
