KeyMoves is partnering with a boutique accounting firm to recruit an experienced Senior Accountant to work 100% remote from anywhere in Australia. You’ll manage a diverse SME client portfolio, deliver financial statements, tax returns and BAS/IAS with a focus on compliance and advisory services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Business Services / Business Advisory (Australia).
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong understanding of trusts, companies and partnerships.
• Experience delegating and reviewing junior staff.
• Xero-based firm with a focus on advisory and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SME clients.
• Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS.
• Deliver tax planning and strategic advisory to clients.
• Manage client relationships from day one.
• Collaborate with Partners and Managers to deliver high-quality service.
• Mentor junior and offshore staff and review work as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of SME clients

Requirements

• 5 years + experience working working within Business Services / Business Advisory services (In Australia)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written;
• Strong understanding of various structures (e.g. trust, companies and partnerships)
• Experience in managing, delegation and reviewing junior team members
• Performance related bonus (10%)
