Job summary

Geyer Valmont is seeking a Client Engagement Leader to drive new business and strengthen client relationships across NSW. You will own relationships from first enquiry to project delivery, coordinating tenders and RFPs with design and estimating teams, and shaping strategy for NSW growth.

The role suits a Senior Interior Designer with strong engagement skills or an experienced business developer with a passion for workplace and commercial interiors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design or Architecture or equivalent is highly desirable.
• 5+ years in business development, client engagement, or related roles.
• Proven ability identifying and converting opportunities.
• Commercially minded with strong relationship-building ability.
• Strong written and verbal communication and time management.
• Strategic negotiation skills; capable with CRM tools.

• Be the client's day-to-day contact from enquiry to project delivery.
• Oversee Tender, EOI and RFP submissions with design and estimating teams.

Job description

As Client Engagement Leader, you'll be the face of Geyer Valmont to new and existing clients across NSW. You'll build the relationships that win work, and the trust that keeps our clients coming back.It's a role built for someone genuinely energised by new business, who has the design fluency to speak credibly to workplace and commercial interior clients, and wants real ownership over how Geyer Valmont grows in NSW.

You Will

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, and grow a robust referral network for the business
• Proactively identify and pursue new business - through networking, research, industry connections and commercial assessment - to meet and exceed sales targets
• Act as the client's day-to-day point of contact, from first enquiry through to project delivery
• Oversee and coordinate Tender, EOI and RFP submissions, working closely with our design and estimating teams to ensure every submission is accurate and compelling
• Present confidently to clients and prospects, and represent Geyer Valmont at industry and networking events
• Keep the sales pipeline and CRM accurate, and report on activity and forecasting as required
• Contribute to strategic sales and marketing planning, and help build the studio's broader business development capability

Who We Are Looking For

This role will suit a Senior Interior Designer with strong client engagement skills or ann experienced business development professional with a genuine interest in workplace and commercial interior design.

• Degree level qualification in Interior Design or Architecture (or an approved Associate Diploma in Interior Design) is highly desirable.
• At least 5 years' experience in business development, client engagement, account management or work-winning within the property, design, construction or professional services sectors
• Demonstrated experience identifying, developing and converting business opportunities is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated results-orientated and commercially focussed approach
• High-level communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to quickly build and maintain relationships.
• Strong organisational, multitasking and time management skills.
• Strategic negotiation skills and confidence with InDesign.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as Monday.com is desirable.
