Job summary

Snappy Business Consulting is seeking an experienced Client Lead / Senior Bookkeeper to own a portfolio of small and medium business clients. You will combine advanced bookkeeping with client relationship management, team leadership, workflow coordination and practical business support.

You will mentor junior staff, attend client meetings, prepare BAS and IAS papers, and deliver accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years bookkeeping experience (public practice or firm preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of Xero and Xero reporting.
• Experience with GST, BAS, payroll and superannuation requirements.
• Proven mentoring or supervision experience with junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of bookkeeping clients across diverse industries.
• Be main point of contact for day-to-day client communication.
• Mentor and support junior staff; provide training as needed.
• Prepare BAS/IAS files and financial reports for clients and directors.
• Maintain accurate Xero files and perform month/quarter-end procedures.
• Engage with clients to identify improvements to processes and systems.
