Job summary

CHAMP Enterprises invites an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join its boutique team in Blaxland, NSW, 10 minutes from Penrith. The role offers flexible part-time hours and a chance to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio, improving clients’ financial performance.

You will manage end-to-end bookkeeping, payroll, BAS/IAS, and board-ready reporting, while developing advisory skills and client relationships in a supportive, established practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' hands-on bookkeeping and payroll experience.
• Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting or equivalent.
• Strong reconciliation skills through to trial balance and balance sheet.
• Experience with Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks.
• Confidence preparing and explaining management reports.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end bookkeeping, reconciliations, journals and financial reporting.
• Payroll, including STP, superannuation and PAYG.
• BAS and IAS preparation and lodgement.
• Monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reporting.
• Variance reporting for client board meetings; Budgeting and forecasting.
• Audit liaison and supporting centre managers and committees to understand financial information.
• Building strong, direct relationships with clients.
• Providing payroll support across the wider business when required.
