Job summary

Lake Imaging is seeking a Clerical Lead for Geelong sites. You will report to the Assistant Regional Manager and oversee clerical operations across imaging practices, ensuring efficient administration and patient service.

Key responsibilities include leading the clerical team, handling patient enquiries, dispatching reports, managing rosters, and supporting staff development. A strong customer service orientation and tech proficiency are essential.

Responsibilities

• Encourage ongoing development and education of clerical staff

About us Lake Imaging, founded in 2002, has become the largest radiology provider in central and western Victoria with more than 19 clinics providing a wide range of diagnostic imaging services to the St John of God private hospitals, community-based clinics and speciality centres in Melbourne, Ballarat, Geelong, and Warrnambool.

About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clerical Lead at our Geelong sites. Reporting to the Assistant Regional Manager, the role of the Clerical Lead is to ensure effective and efficient operation of all clerical aspects of a comprehensive imaging practice.

You will be responsible for:

• Supporting, leading, and developing the clerical team to deliver excellent patient care and customer service
• Answer the telephone and respond to patient enquiries in an efficient and sensitive manner
• Ensure patient reports are dispatched to the correct location
• Assume responsibility for the condition of equipment at the time of use and report any faults
• Participation in our rostering system and manage rosters and leave requests ensuring sufficient staff coverage
• Encouragement and support of development and education of clerical staff

To be successful, you will have

• Tech Savvy: Advanced computer literacy and ability to pick things up quickly is essential
