Job summary

Ventia is hiring Evening Cleaners for Melbourne Youth Justice Centre in Parkville, VIC. This casual role offers evening hours (8:30pm–12:30am) with a roster across Monday to Sunday and a start date ASAP.

Pay starts from $37.91 per hour plus penalties and super, with training provided. Ideal candidates will have a full driver licence and reliable vehicle, the ability to perform physical cleaning duties, and pass required checks and medicals.

• Must be able to perform physical cleaning duties throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise offices, reception areas, workshops, bathrooms and common spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum and dust.

Role: Prison Cleaner

Location: Melbourne Youth Justice Centre, Parkville, VIC

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Casual, with potential to become permanent based on performance and business requirements

Pay Rate: From $37.91 per hour plus penalties and super

Shift Times: 8:30pm - 12:30am

Days: Monday to Sunday, casual roster

What You Will Be Doing

• Cleaning and sanitising offices, reception areas, workshops, bathrooms, communal spaces and foyers


• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting


• Maintaining high hygiene standards throughout the facility


• Completing bio-cleaning tasks when required
