Job summary

THE GREGGERY FAMILY TRUST – Mount Cotton QLD is seeking a hands-on Cleaning Supervisor to lead cleaning teams across multiple sites. You will inspect standards, train staff, and report on site conditions to the Managing Director.

The role requires practical cleaning ability, strong communication, and willingness to travel between sites. A company vehicle will be provided.

Cleaning Supervisor | Hands-On Role | Company Vehicle Provided

Nationwide Property Solutions QLD is seeking a reliable, experienced cleaning supervisor to support our cleaning teams and work directly with the Managing Director.

This is a working supervisor position suited to someone who enjoys being out on site, leading by example and getting involved in the cleaning. You will help maintain standards across multiple commercial sites, support team members and follow through on issues that need attention.

A company vehicle will be provided for travel between sites and carrying out your duties.

Your responsibilities will include:

Visiting sites on behalf of the Managing Director to check cleaning standards and support our teams.

Completing site inspections and clear reports, including photos and follow-up actions.

Responding to team members’ questions and helping resolve day-to-day issues.

Training new cleaners on site requirements, cleaning methods and safe work practices.

Providing practical coaching to existing cleaners where improvements are needed.

Covering cleaning shifts when team members are sick or absent, including at short notice.

Assisting with detailed cleaning and addressing areas that fall below standard.

Keeping the Managing Director informed of site conditions, staffing concerns and outstanding tasks.

Assisting the Managing Director with the daily coordination of cleaning operations.

We are looking for someone who:

Has commercial cleaning experience and experience supervising or training others.

Takes pride in their work and sets a good example for the team.

Is comfortable carrying out cleaning duties as a regular part of the role.

Communicates clearly and treats team members respectfully.

Can work independently, organise site visits and follow tasks through to completion.

Has a strong eye for detail and takes initiative when something needs attention.

Is confident using a smartphone or tablet to complete reports, take photos and communicate.

Is competent using Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint and OneNote, to manage information, maintain records and support daily operations.

Holds a current driver’s licence and is comfortable travelling between sites.

Has flexibility to assist with staff absences and changing site needs, occasional weekend work may be required if there are staff shortages.

Working hours are predominantly 3 am to 9 am, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to meet site and staffing needs.

This role would suit an experienced cleaner ready to take the next step, or an established supervisor who enjoys staying actively involved in the work. The company vehicle is loacated in Mt Cotton Qld.
