Job summary

CCGT Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable Commercial Cleaner to join our Mackay team. You will clean offices, kitchens and restrooms, following checklists and safety protocols. You will operate modern cleaning equipment and report maintenance or safety issues as needed.

Casual roles start at $33.85 per hour with higher rates for evenings and other shifts. Training is provided, with potential for additional hours and progression into longer-term roles.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual, able to work unsupervised.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow checklists.
• Able to communicate clearly with team and supervisors.
• Able to obtain a National Police Check when required.
• Driver's licence and reliable transport for Mackay sites.

Responsibilities

• Clean commercial offices and workplaces to schedule.
• Vacuum, mop and perform detailed floor cleaning.
• Clean bathrooms, kitchens and common areas.
• Empty bins and replace liners.
• Restock toilet paper, towels and consumables.
• Follow site cleaning checklists and safety rules.

Job description

CCGT Pty Ltd is a growing commercial cleaning company servicing businesses and government sites throughout the Mackay region. We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Commercial Cleaner to join our growing team. We want someone who takes pride in their work, turns up when rostered, pays attention to detail and can be trusted to work independently.

Key responsibilities

• Commercial office and workplace cleaning
• Vacuuming, mopping and detailed floor cleaning
• Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens and common areas
• Emptying bins and replacing liners
• Restocking toilet paper, hand towels and other consumables
• Dusting and wiping surfaces
• Following site cleaning checklists
• Using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
• Reporting maintenance, damage or safety issues
• Completing work to CCGT's cleaning standards

About you

• Reliable and punctual
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work unsupervised
• Able to follow cleaning checklists and instructions
• Good communication
• Comfortable using a mobile app for rosters, clocking in/out and checklists
• Driver's licence and reliable transport
• Commercial cleaning experience is preferred, but not essential
• Willing to complete training
• Able to obtain or provide a National Police Check where required
• Casual rates from $33.85 per hour, with higher rates applying to eligible evening and other shifts
• Consistent ongoing work across established commercial sites
