Job summary

Respect is a not-for-profit aged care provider in Regional Australia. We’re seeking a Part-Time Services Assistant to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents, staff and visitors in a residential aged care setting.

You will clean resident rooms and shared areas, follow infection control guidelines, and work across a rotating roster including weekends. Training and development opportunities are offered in a supportive team environment.

About The Role

As a Part-Time Services Assistant, you’ll play an important role in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Working within a residential aged care setting, you’ll be responsible for cleaning resident rooms, shared areas, and facilities while upholding high standards of hygiene and infection control.

This is a Part-Time opportunity and requires a reliable team member who is flexible to work across a rotating roster, including weekends where required. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys contributing to a positive, home-like environment.

No two days are the same! As a Cleaning Services Assistant, you will:

• Clean and sanitise resident rooms, bathrooms, and shared living areas in line with infection control standards
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas including lounges, dining rooms, corridors, and staff areas
• Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment according to workplace procedures
• Dispose of waste and manage linen in accordance with hygiene and safety guidelines
• Follow cleaning schedules and workplace procedures to maintain consistent, high-quality standards
