Respect is seeking a Cleaning Services Assistant for a casual role in a residential aged care setting. You will help keep resident rooms, shared spaces, and facilities clean and safe, supporting infection control and hygiene standards.

• Clean and sanitise resident rooms, bathrooms, and shared living areas in line with infection control standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas including lounges, dining rooms, corridors, and staff areas.
• Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment according to workplace procedures.
• Dispose of waste and manage linen in accordance with hygiene and safety guidelines.
• Follow cleaning schedules and workplace procedures to maintain consistent, high-quality standards.

About The Role

As a Cleaning Services Assistant, you’ll play an important role in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Working within a residential aged care setting, you’ll be responsible for cleaning resident rooms, shared areas, and facilities while upholding high standards of hygiene and infection control.

This is a Casual opportunity and requires a reliable team member who is flexible to work across a rotating roster, including weekends where required. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys contributing to a positive, home-like environment.
