Job summary

Respect is one of the region's largest aged care providers, and we are seeking a Casual Cleaning Services Assistant to join our team. You will clean resident rooms, shared areas, and facilities, upholding infection control and high hygiene standards in a residential aged care setting.

This role is casual with a rotating roster, including weekends. You will contribute to a home-like environment, supported by dedicated leaders and opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise resident rooms, bathrooms, and shared living areas in line with infection control standards
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas including lounges, dining rooms, corridors, and staff areas
• Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment according to workplace procedures
• Dispose of waste and manage linen in accordance with hygiene and safety guidelines
• Follow cleaning schedules and workplace procedures to maintain consistent, high-quality standards

About the Role:

As a Cleaning Services Assistant, you’ll play an important role in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Working within a residential aged care setting, you’ll be responsible for cleaning resident rooms, shared areas, and facilities while upholding high standards of hygiene and infection control.

This is a Casual opportunity and requires a reliable team member who is flexible to work across a rotating roster, including weekends where required. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys contributing to a positive, home-like environment.
