Job summary

CityFM in Ballarat is seeking a reliable cleaner for evening shifts. The role involves cleaning activity rooms, sanitising high-touch surfaces, and maintaining shared spaces. You will follow OH&S policies and use cleaning chemicals safely.

A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential. Working rights in Australia are required, and a smartphone for work communications is expected. Driver's license and own car are preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Must have valid working rights in Australia.
• Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
• Smartphone for work communication required.

Responsibilities

• Clean activity rooms, amenities and shared spaces.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as handles and switches.
• Dust, vacuum, mop and spot-clean doors and windows.
• Safely use chemicals, equipment and machinery.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting and kneeling.
• Follow all OH&S policies and procedures.
