Bolton Clarke Glendale in Townsville is seeking a dual-role Cleaning and Laundry Associate to maintain high standards of cleanliness across our facility and support residents with a hygienic environment. You will work within a caring team dedicated to delivering quality care and building positive relationships with residents and families.

The role emphasizes infection control, reliable shift attendance, and flexibility to cover varied hours.

Qualifications

• Previous aged care or hotel services experience desirable.
• Willingness to take direction from others.
• Reliability and shift flexibility.
• Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• Pre employment checks; complete a National Police Check

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times
• Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors
• Dusting, polishing and general tidying
• Cleaning bathroom facilities
• Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room
• Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
• Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required
