Job summary

Bolton Clarke Glendale facility in Townsville is seeking a dedicated cleaner and laundry assistant to support our residents and maintain a safe, hygienic environment.

Qualifications

• Previous aged care or hotel services experience desirable.
• Willingness to take direction from others.
• Reliability and shift flexibility.
• Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• Pre employment checks; complete a National Police Check

Responsibilities

• Ensure all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard.
• Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors.
• Dusting, polishing and general tidying.
• Cleaning bathroom facilities.
• Attending to residents’ personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents’ room.
• Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
• Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required

Please note this is a dual role for Cleaning and laundry.
You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. Every day you will be making a difference in people’s lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families.

• Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times
