Job summary

Minor Hotels’ Oaks Sydney Castlereagh Suites is seeking dedicated housekeeping team members for casual roles. You will clean guest rooms, handle beds, baths, and floors to high standards and support a collaborative team environment across a rotating roster.

Shifts start between 8:00am and 9:00am with hours outlined to cover Monday through Sunday. Hourly rates vary by day: Monday–Friday $33.85, Saturday $40.62, Sunday $47.39.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
• Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

• Using specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively - with all training and tools provided.

Oaks Sydney Castlereagh Suites is excited to expand our housekeeping department, with multiple casual opportunities now available.

Key Responsibilities:

Shift Details (subject to change):

• Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday


• Shifts starting between 8:00am and 9.00am

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):

Monday - Friday: $33.85 per hour
Saturday: $40.62 per hour
Sunday: $47.39 per hour
