Job summary

Oaks R Suites Geelong, part of Minor Hotels, is expanding its housekeeping team with multiple casual opportunities. We seek energetic, detail-oriented individuals who enjoy a team environment and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

As a housekeeper, you will clean guest rooms to a pristine standard, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with colleagues to meet daily targets. Training is provided, with competitive hourly rates and opportunities for growth within Minor Hotels.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
• Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

About the job:

• Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, andcleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.

Shift Details(subject to change):

• Rotating roster across Monday to Friday
• Shifts starting between 8:00am and 9.00am

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):

Monday - Friday: $33.85 per hour

Saturday: $40.62 per hour

Sunday: $47.39 per hour
