Job summary

Oaks Lake Crackenback Resort, part of Minor Hotels, is expanding its housekeeping team with casual opportunities. You will maintain guest room cleanliness, make beds, vacuum, and sanitize bathrooms while working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

We value reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork. Flexible hours include weekends and public holidays, with shifts starting around 8:00am to 9:00am in NSW, offering competitive hourly rates and staff perks.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
• Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

Oaks Lake Crackenback Resort is excited to expand our housekeeping department, with multiple casual opportunities now available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.

Shift Details (subject to change):

• Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
• Shifts starting between 8:00am and 9.00am

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):
Monday - Friday: $33.85 per hour
Saturday: $40.62 per hour
Sunday: $47.39 per hour
