Oaks Sydney Hyde Park Suites, part of Minor Hotels, is hiring for housekeeping roles on a casual basis in Sydney. You will clean guest rooms to high standards, handle cleaning tasks efficiently, and work with a friendly team to meet daily targets. Training will be provided for safety and chemical handling.

We offer flexible hours including weekends and public holidays, with rotating shifts. This is a great entry into a global hospitality group that values guest experience and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
• Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

Key Responsibilities

Shift Details (subject to change)

Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday Shifts starting between 8:00am and 9.00am

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation)

• Monday - Friday: $33.85 per hour
• Saturday: $40.62 per hour
• Sunday: $47.39 per hour
