Minor Hotels’ Oaks Adelaide Horizons Suites is expanding its housekeeping team with casual opportunities. You will help maintain pristine guest rooms, including beds, floors and bathrooms, to deliver an exceptional guest experience in a busy hotel setting.

We offer training, safety compliance, and a rotating roster with weekend work. The role rewards reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive work ethic within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Good physical fitness for repetitive tasks.
• Clear communication with guests and team.
• Strong time management and prioritisation of tasks.
• Positive, proactive work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards by cleaning guest rooms, beds, vacuuming floors, and bathrooms.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
• Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
• Collaborating with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
• Adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Using specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively - with all training and tools provided.
• Building strong, professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to help foster a positive, respectful work environment.

Shift Details (subject to change): Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday Shifts starting between 8:00am and 9.00am

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation): Monday - Friday: $33.85 per hour Saturday: $40.62 per hour Sunday: $47.39 per hour

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require the following:

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
• Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
