Job summary

The Classroom Teacher will plan, deliver and assess learning programs to support achievement and wellbeing while maintaining a safe, inclusive classroom and collaborating with families and staff.

This temporary appointment replaces an employee on parental leave for the 2027 school year. Start date is negotiable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education/Teaching or Master of Teaching required.
• NESA accreditation required.
• WWCC required.
• Accreditation in line with Catholic Education policy.

• Plan, deliver and assess teaching and learning programs to support student achievement and wellbeing.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment and monitor student progress.

About the Role

The Classroom Teacher plans, delivers, and assesses teaching and learning programs to support student achievement and wellbeing. Maintains a safe and inclusive learning environment, monitors student progress, communicates with parents and carers, collaborates with colleagues, and fulfils administrative and professional responsibilities in line with school policies and curriculum requirements

This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on parental leave. The incumbent is entitled to return earlier to their substantive position in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.
