About Our School

Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School Matraville is an exciting new state-of-the-art, two-stream Catholic primary school, established in 2023. This name celebrates the founding religious order for our primary school, the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. Our school is a two-stream school borne from the amalgamation of the two previous parish primary schools.

About You

As a Classroom Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:

• expertise in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
• strong classroom management and student well-being focus
• ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
• a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
• Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
