Job summary

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Primary School Waterloo is seeking a Classroom Teacher to deliver a K-6 curriculum in a supportive Catholic learning environment. You will inspire students with engaging, student-centered teaching and partner with colleagues to maintain high standards of learning and wellbeing.

The role is part-time (0.4 FTE) for Term 4, starting 12 October 2026, with the closing date of 1 October 2026.

Qualifications

• K-6 Curriculum development expertise and effective learning pedagogies.
• Strong classroom management and student well-being focus.
• Ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences.
• Religious Education qualifications or willingness to achieve them as per policy.

About You

As a Classroom Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:

• ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
• a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
• Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
