Job summary

St Joseph’s Primary School, Narrandera is seeking a Classroom and Learning Support teacher to contribute to student achievement within a collaborative team. You will help deliver inclusive learning experiences and support literacy, numeracy and well-being for students.

The role is permanent part-time (10 hours/week, 9:00 am–3:15 pm Tue–Fri) with term-time scheduling and benefits, commencing January 2027. The school offers salary packaging and health insurance options.

Your New Role

The Classroom and Learning Support teacher has an educational influence on student achievement and plays a key role in supporting effective learning and teaching. The first function of the classroom teacher is to be an effective member of a collaborative team of colleagues who work to put student learning and wellbeing first.

What We Can Offer

• Permanent Part-time Position with the option of tempaory hours for the duration of 2027

• Ability to support student learning in numeracy and literacy or other special projects.
• Successful candidate to undergo a National Criminal History Check
• Current NSW Working with Children Check
• Accreditation for Support Staff in a Catholic School (Category A, Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga) or willing to achieve.
