Sharp and Carter is recruiting a Claims Specialist in North Sydney to own a varied portfolio of General Insurance claims from lodgement to settlement.

You'll work with brokers and customers, with full training provided, and opportunities to expand into property, motor and farm-related claims.

Claims Specialist| North Sydney | $90K–$100K + Super

Do you have General Insurance claims experience and ready for a role where you own the outcome?

Our client is a fast-growing specialist insurer with a genuinely people-first reputation. Leaders are hands-on and easy to approach, the team is close-knit and collaborative, and people are recognised for what they contribute.

With the business expanding and its claims team growing, there is real scope to build a career, and the chance to move across the business as it develops.

You’ll manage a varied portfolio of around 100 claims, from straightforward matters through to complex losses, working directly with brokers and customers. You’ll take each claim from lodgement through to settlement, including recoveries, and build your own delegated authority as you prove yourself.

We’re open to candidates from a range of General Insurance claims backgrounds, and you’ll get the training and support to build your skills across property, motor and farm-related claims.

As a Claims Consultant, you will:

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 100 claims end to end, from lodgement through to settlement and recoveries
