Job summary

StateCover is seeking a Claims Business Analyst to join the Claims team on a 12‑month maximum term contract in Sydney. You will turn operational data into practical actions that improve performance, strengthen compliance and support the distinctive claims model alongside claims leaders and operational teams.

You will use analytics to identify risks, monitor performance and drive improvements across the portfolio, partnering with quality assurance, optimization and system teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience as a business analyst, reporting, claims support or operational improvement role.
• Strong data analysis, trends and issue investigation capabilities.
• Ability to translate insights into practical recommendations and actions.

Responsibilities

• Identify emerging risks and monitor performance across the claims portfolio.
• Use data to detect trends, anomalies and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with claims management, QA and continuous improvement teams to drive results.
• Support system-related initiatives, including troubleshooting, reporting requirements and process enhancements.
