Job summary

ClearView Wealth Limited, now part of Zurich, is seeking a Claims Administration professional to join our Life Insurance team in Sydney. Reporting to the Claims Administration Manager, you will deliver high-quality service while handling Death/Terminal Illness and long-term IP claims, with opportunity to progress in Life Insurance claims management.

Ideal candidates may come from Life Insurance or workers' compensation administration; prior experience is preferred but not essential.

About the role:

Reporting to our Claims Administration Manager, you will provide exceptional customer service and claims management practices in line with ClearView’s Claims philosophy and internal policies and procedures. The role will be a combination of Death/Terminal Illness and long term IP claims.

This role would ideally suit anyone looking to further their career in Life Insurance and / or build on their existing claims management skills, or a senior Administrator from industry.

Please note, you do not need prior experience in this role, however, this is preferred. You may come from a Life Insurance, or Workers Comp administration background.

Primary Key Responsibilities

• Proactively managing a portfolio of severely injured and ill individuals, specifically providing high level service tailored to their specific needs
• Deliver effective case management to support strong claims strategies and customer outcomes
• Adhere to Life Insurance Code of Practice (LICOP) and internal Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
• Work within a team environment including internal and external stakeholders
• ClearView takes its Work, Health and Safety (WHS) obligations seriously. All employees must follow policies which are located on our intranet Connect.
• Take ownership of the risk and compliance responsibilities relevant to your role, support a strong risk culture, and understand that risk is everyone’s responsibility

Secondary Responsibilities

• Liaise, interact, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders o Identify and implement process, regulatory and claims management process changes (as required)

• Third Party Providers – CMO, Rehab Providers, Medical and Allied Health professionals

Qualifications Required

• Tertiary Qualifications and or Allied Health background (desirable) – not essential
