Job summary

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is seeking experienced Civil/Earthworks Supervisors to join our Construction team on major projects in Western Australia. You will play a key role in supervising civil construction and earthworks on large and complex sites, with a focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role offers a 2x1 FIFO roster from Perth, with opportunities for career growth, strong leadership, and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Civil Construction/Earthworks supervisory role.
  • Trades background.
  • Experience managing onsite contractors on large Tier 1 contracts.
  • Knowledge of safety legislation and mining/construction standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Australian working rights and Perth residency required.

  • Cultivating a positive and productive work culture for trades and contractors.
  • Reviewing site plans to ensure alignment with project objectives.

About Us

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is a leading process engineering consulting and contracting company that specialises in providing high quality engineering design and construction services to the mining and mineral processing industries.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Civil/Earthworks Supervisors to join our Construction team, you would play a key role on major projects in Western Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity to join GRES during a period of significant growth, offering excellent potential for professional development and career progression.

These positions would suit Supervisors who have a proven track record of success in supervising Civil Construction and or Earthworks on large and complex construction projects, preferably with EPC style projects.

In This Role, a Typical Day Will Include

The ideal candidates will be able to commit to a 2x1 FIFO (fly-in, fly-out) roster from Perth (other states will be considered) and will be responsible for:

  • Enforcing strict adherence to safety protocols, ensuring proper training and support for all personnel, and meeting HSE standards.
  • Cultivating a positive and productive work culture for a diverse team of trades and contractors.
  • Reviewing site plans to ensure alignment with project objectives throughout the construction phase.
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Ensuring compliance with GRES/Client policies, industry standards, and safe work procedures.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in a Supervisory capacity specifically within the Civil Construction and or Earthworks scope.
  • Trades background.
  • Experience in managing onsite contractors on large Tier 1 contracts.
  • Knowledge of current safety legislation and standards in the construction and mining sectors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong leadership abilities.
  • Valid National Police clearance.
  • The ability to pass a full medical and DAS
  • S26, current first aid and white card - essential
