Job summary

Burton Contractors is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead a major civil construction project in Sydney. You will report to the Project Manager and take ownership of planning, coordinating and delivering works safely and efficiently.

You will supervise site personnel, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement while liaising with engineers, subcontractors and clients. A strong focus on WHS, quality and process discipline is essential.

• Supervise and coordinate site personnel, leading continuous improvement efforts.

• Demonstrate strong leadership and the ability to solve problems with deductive reasoning and analytical thinking.
• Work closely with the Project Manager, engineers, subcontractors and client representatives.
• Plan and prioritise daily workloads to respond to changing project requirements.
• Maintain a strong focus on WHS, environmental requirements and quality standards.
• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor within civil construction.

Burton Contractors is looking for an experienced and driven Site Supervisor to join our team.

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, this is an opportunity to take ownership of a significant project and showcase your leadership skills.

The Site Supervisor will be responsible for the project planning, organising, coordinating and controlling resources to maximise the achievement of the key objectives, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with the project program, quality requirements and client expectations.

As a Site Supervisor, you will be expected to:

Supervise and coordinate site personnel, leading continuous improvement efforts.
