Freyssinet Australia is seeking a hands-on Site Supervisor to join our Civil team in Brisbane. You will coordinate day-to-day site activities, lead crews and subcontractors, and support delivery of specialist civil and structural projects across Queensland.

This role combines field leadership with project coordination and documentation. The ideal candidate has 3–8 years in civil/structural environments, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate with clients and project teams.

We are seeking a motivated Site Supervisor to join our growing Civil team in Brisbane, supporting a range of specialist infrastructure and structural projects across Queensland and interstate.

You'll play a key role in delivering specialist civil and structural works while building your leadership and project delivery skills.

About the Role

Reporting to the Project Management team, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day site activities and supporting the successful delivery of a variety of specialist civil and structural projects.

Projects typically involve:

• Post-tensioning works
• Grouting operations
• Jacking activities
• Temporary works solutions
• Specialist civil and structural maintenance projects
• Bridge and structural rehabilitation works

This role combines hands-on site leadership with project coordination and documentation responsibilities. You'll be supported by an experienced team while being given the opportunity to take ownership of project delivery on smaller works.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise day-to-day site activities
• Lead site crews, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
• Assist with planning and delivering civil and structural projects
• Coordinate labour, equipment and materials

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Approximately 3-8 years’ experience within civil, structural, infrastructure or construction environments
• Previous experience coordinating crews, subcontractors or site activities
• Strong practical construction knowledge and problem-solving skills
• Confidence communicating with clients, supervisors and project teams
• Good computer skills and the ability to manage digital project documentation
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A hands-on approach and willingness to lead from the front
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• Willingness to travel regionally and interstate as required

Highly Regarded

• Experience as a Leading Hand, Site Coordinator, Junior Supervisor or Foreman
• Exposure to bridges, structures, post-tensioning, remediation or specialist civil works
• Working at Heights certification
• EWP Licence
• High Risk Work Licences
• Qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field

Location & Travel

This position is based in Brisbane, QLD, with regular regional Queensland travel and occasional interstate work depending on project requirements.

Candidates currently based in Queensland will be highly regarded.
