Job summary

McGloin Baker is a civil engineering consultancy delivering disaster recovery and resilience programs, transport and water infrastructure, and major civil projects on the Gold Coast. We seek experienced Site Engineers and Project Engineers to work with site teams, contractors and stakeholders on upcoming civil infrastructure and DRFA projects.

Ideal candidates will have a civil engineering degree, solid site delivery experience and strong communication skills to coordinate multiple activities

Qualifications

• Requires a civil engineering degree and experience in site delivery.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project controls and site documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication within project teams and with clients.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of civil construction works.
• Coordinate site activities, subcontractors, suppliers and resources.
• Monitor project programs, costs, quality and progress.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports and records.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical requirements.
• Manage inspections, hold points, quality records and site documentation.
• Support procurement, variations, progress claims and cost reporting.
• Assist with safety, environmental and quality compliance.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and other project stakeholders.
• Identify project risks and support timely resolution of site issues.
