Job summary

Shoalhaven City Council is seeking a Project Officer to assist the Senior Project Manager - Civil and Project Engineers across a range of infrastructure projects in Nowra, NSW. You will help manage planning, procurement, tendering, construction delivery, contract administration and close-out, ensuring compliance and timely reporting.

Key duties include site representation, project planning, procurement evaluation, and maintaining project documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in building, construction, civil or electrical engineering fields.
• Experience with procurement, time, cost, quality and contract surveillance.
• Current NSW White Card or equivalent qualifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective site representation as Council Officer on projects.
• Deliver projects including management of contract works.
• Plan projects: scope, program, budget and risk.
• Undertake stakeholder consultation and maintain communications register.
• Prepare procurement plans and draft RFQ/RFT documents, evaluate submissions.
