Job summary

Shoalhaven City Council in Nowra, NSW, is offering a Fixed Term / Full Time role to support Building & Property Services systems and processes. The position runs 35 hours per week (Mon–Fri) with flexitime, located at the Nowra Administration Building, Bridge Road.

Parental Leave cover until November 2027, with a strong focus on data, compliance, and continuous improvement. We seek a proactive team player with a Certificate IV in Business or equivalent, strong MS Office skills (Access/Excel),

Qualifications

• TAFE Certificate IV in Business or equivalent.
• Demonstrated high level of competency in MS Office programs (Access, Excel).
• Attention to detail with ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Excellence in business administration supporting systems and processes.
• Ability to maintain data at a high standard within an information management system.
• Class C Driver's Licence.
• Proof of Australian residency or citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee work management processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain the inspection, testing and monitoring register for Building and Property Services.
• Assist the Business & Compliance Coordinator with ad hoc data collection and interpretation.
• Provide support to the team in relation to work request activities.
