Kyogle Council in Australia seeks an experienced engineering professional to lead and deliver project and contract management across infrastructure programs. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with legislative and Council requirements.
You will plan capital works, prepare tenders and project documentation, manage external grants, and support asset management and safety standards.
Reporting to the Director Assets & Infrastructure Services, this position is responsible for delivering project management and contract management services across a wide range of infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all legislative and Council requirements.
You are a qualified engineering professional with experience in project and/or contract management, capable of delivering infrastructure projects from planning through to completion. You have strong technical skills in civil engineering design, documentation, and relevant legislation, along with well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities.
You communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, work both independently and collaboratively, and maintain a high standard of professionalism and customer service. You are organised, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance outcomes.
You hold a relevant tertiary qualification, a Class C Driver’s Licence, and a White Card, with experience in local government, asset management, or transport and infrastructure projects considered highly desirable.
