Shellharbour City Council is seeking a Senior Project Delivery Officer to manage capital works projects from planning to community consultation, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and high quality standards.

The role requires a degree in engineering, project management, construction, or architecture, plus experience in large-scale infrastructure delivery and strong stakeholder engagement. The position offers hybrid working arrangements and commensurate salary and benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Proven track record in project delivery, design development and contract management of large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
• Exceptional verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with a knack for negotiation and conflict resolution.
• Experience in leading community consultations and fostering positive stakeholder engagement.
• Current NSW Driver’s License – Class C.

Aufgaben

• Lead the overall management and delivery of capital works projects, ensuring compliance with planning and statutory requirements.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives and enhance the delivery of Council’s capital works program.
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Continuously evaluate and improve project delivery processes to drive innovation and efficiency.
